When he wasn’t in school Jacob spent his spare time working on his father’s commercial fishing boat harvesting oysters and shrimping in Louisiana and Texas. After working his way through high school and college as a deckhand, he went on to law school and eventually founded The Garbin Law Firm, LLC. Today, you can still find him on the Westbank spending time with his children by the water. 

Jacob felt drawn to personal injury law because he feels passionately about leaving a positive impact by helping people. Many of his clients have never hired a lawyer, so he works to make them comfortable by connecting with them on a personal level.
